Transform Social Media Into a Force for Democracy

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead

JOIN OUR MOVEMENT to build SocialHub Democracy
- an unprecedented platform that empowers citizens with accurate government information, promotes civic engagement, strengthens and preserves democratic institutions and returns power to the people-its rightful owner.

Great love of country can bring great concern. Presently we are at a time when disinformation, polarization, and authoritarian tactics threaten our democratic fabric. We are seeing that Democracy is not necessarily self-sustaining — it requires vigilance, tools, individual and community action to endure.Yes, perhaps these days especially, even more than voting alone. Therefore we are creating, and with your help further developing,an equity-centered, nonprofit-aligned platform- Proactive Democracy- to defend the constitution and our constitutional freedoms, protect all civil rights, and build durable civic infrastructure that strengthens and preserves our democracyto ensure every voice can shape the future. Together we can and will do it.

Why SocialHub Democracy Platform?

Empowering citizens through technology, knowledge, authentic discourse and powerful resources.

The developing platform being pitched provides the answer.

The proposal.
A complete robust face book-like DEMOCRACY community that is not a website but a cumulative environment with various levels of communication and participation for all people. It will provide all outlets and 21st century tools to:

• Convert spectacle into structure

Use mass events to recruit volunteers, build local chapters, and raise funds for long-term advocacy and to combine rallies with constituent outreach, FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) requests, litigation, and engagement with oversight bodies.

• Plan events and promote participation

Event planning and invite tools including create town halls and report if representative showed up, listened and engaged.

• Fundraise

Provide tools with proven methodology to set up fundraising events whether in-person or virtual campaigns to assist with movement costs.

• Hold representatives accountable

Through the use of representative report cards you can fill, share and post (report cards) for all of the representatives so that voters can share their thoughts and so they know what voters think of them. Are they keeping their pledges?

• Connect with representatives

To have the ability (and subsequent power) to contact every single congress person and senator through their social office addresses, media handles, pages, email addresses and phone numbers if available. Users can flood the gamut of complacency.

• Provide critical information access

Through the built-in un-biased AI component users will have access to find historical, civic and constitutional information.

• Target institutions, not just personalities.

Durable reform often comes from changing rules, funding, and procedures rather than from episodic personnel purges.

• Keep it lawful and nonviolent

Provide the stage, outlets and the tools to maintain legitimacy as it is essential to both public sympathy and legal safety.

• Push Hard

Exhort users to endorse the importance of voting at every level as impending midterms (for example) can cripple tyranny if the enablers are removed. This may also include the ability to remove tired and unsuccessful career democrats and replace them with new vibrant democratic voices who wish to, and are committed too, making the difference.

• Apply accountability consistently.

Selective outrage looks partisan; systemic reform rests on steady standards applied across the board.

The public’s anger
at institutional complacency is understandable and often warranted. But anger alone does not equal reform. A movement that wants to matter must plan beyond the march: it needs a pipeline from protest to policy, from banners to budgets, from chants to chambers, from failed leaders to more effective ones. Only by converting heat into durable political pressure — and by demanding concrete, enforceable fixes — can citizens ensure protests can be even more effective and change producing.

Term Report Cards

Monitor representatives.
Rate their work performance, honesty, dedication
and share their report cards online to expose
if they are not performing their jobs.
Election time may be a severely rude-awaking for them.
